Abstract
We proposed a biogeographical and bioclimatical outline about the vegetation of the Valle de Arán (Spanish Pyrenees), with special emphasis in its altitudinal distribution. Finally we point out a syntaxonomical synthesis of the communities that we have recognized in the Valle de Arán territory.
