Resumen
The problem of determining the center and the axes of a given 'opposite similarity' or 'strech reflection' is addressed in the paper. The reader is guided through a step-by-step process for finding the solutions using synthetic geometry techniques. The geometric constructions are presented in detail and the simplicity of different possible constructions is compared. The problem is also treated using coordinates afterwards. Finally, the correctness of the geometric method presented is also verifield using an algebraic automated theorem providing method
