Resumen
Inversion is not a shape-preserving trasformations, but it is an angle-preserving one (although the orientation of the angles is reserved). Consequently, the properties of inversion are not intuitive. Using GeoGebra to visualize inversion, exploring in order to discover properties before formalizing them, is of great help to get acquainted whit this transformation, as well as for abbreviating constructions. Inversion has several applications and some of them are treated in this article.
