Abstract

It has been demonstrated that semicircular border screens are the most effective in reduction of traffic noise frequencies- Because semicircular border screens are not the most extended solution, they were measured using an scale model with both variable height (ground level, medium height, and on the top), and emission frequency (between 63 and 5000 Hz). Multiple regression model allows us to obtain the attenuation function for this profile and to show which of the two variables (height or frequency) is the most influential.
