Resumen
Acoustic attenuation in a border screen model has been measured varying height measurement (ground level, medium height, and on the top), ridge section (eight sections) and emission frequency (in the range between 63 and 5000 Hz). The last one strongly influences the attenuation and also the profile shape, height is the least influential variable. In order to a global estimation, to obtain the most adequate traffic noise reduction, an assessment considering eight different profiles was made.
