Resumen

The University of Zaragoza offers its students the University Orientation Program of the University of Zaragoza (POUZ), which integrates all the activities and services of support and guidance that provides university students. Its main objective is to favour integration, education and development of students at the University, as well as their insertion in the labour market. The Polytechnic University School of Teruel (EUPT) of the University of Zaragoza is currently working to implement one of its degrees, currently given in the face-to-face modality, in a blended learning format, with the aim of expand the educational offer and to cover a greater number of potential students. This modification of the formative offer, based on a distance modality, involves a major adaptation effort both at the academic level of each of the subjects (in regards to planning, development of procedures and design of specific materials, etc.) and at the level of the rest of procedures and ancillary services that affect students, such as the orientation activities carried out within the POUZ. Thus, the guiding work being done at universities with students at distance is still much more crucial than the one carried out with students in face-to-face education. Therefore, this work develops a methodology for implementing University Orientation Programme (POU) in blended learning approach. For this purpose, an analysis about distinctive features in distance learning orientation is performed, and action guidelines are defined to develop, in an efficient and customized way, the proposal for orientation action for distance students.
