Abstract
The purpose of this article is to explore the factors determining the participation of Spanish industrial companies in European technological policy, which is implemented through the framework programmes. For this purpose, a statistical means differences analysis is carried out first of all, followed by an econometric study,both based on the information provided by the Spanishversion of the European Survey of Technological Innovation in Companies.
