Resumen
A redefinition of the tasks, competencies and responsibilities in information and communication (in intellectual, scientific, technological, corporative and social frames) must be consequent with the rich content and teaching pragmatism of the new studies plans which are implemented during the last three years, with discussing effectiveness and unacceptable revision, and viceversa. If we do not want or are not able to concentrate the criteria in this sense, both the Sciences of Information Faculties as the corporations and communication institutions, the social demands and queries and the professional area yet on work will prejudicially go disunited and irrationally against to their respective duties, rights and responsibilities.
