Abstract

The larvae of three irogiobile species of Domene Fauvel are descnbed; D. benalioarensis Oromf & Marlfn, 1990 from the island of La Palma, D. mlcanica Oromf & Hernandez, 1986 and D. aliicola Oromf & Hernandez, 1986, both from Tencrife. Instead of being an ambimorphic iroglobite species, the larvae of D. benahoarensis seems to be close to the typical troglomorphic and trogiobites larvae of D. vulcanica and that of D. camusi PeyerhimholT, 1949 known from Marocco. The larvae of D. aliicola shows some characters, different to the ground plan of the other troglobite sp>ccies; the mandibules are crenulaled and the nasal has not any difl'erenciated anterior tooth and also the median incision is narrow.
