Resumo

A serie of ceramic fracments from a medieval archaeological excavation in Agreda are studied and selected by their different aspects as regards to thick-ness, coulor and glazed, as to elucidate their possibles analogies or differences, and to characterize the different potteries. According to Archaeological-Petrology, the different thickness and variability of the pieces are determined, the partial colours of each fragment, as well as the whole of them, being identified. The mineralogical composition is analyzed through XRD methods, as well as the different crusts some samples presented; the study being completed through the compositional and textural microscopic analysis. In the Conclusions section, it is indicated how all the ceramics come from the same raw material supplier zone, since their mineralogical composition and clastics size is similar. The thickness of the sides, so different from some samples to others, depends only on the purpose to which the object is assigned. The differences in colour are only due to their position in the kiln at the baking moment. The baking temperature was never superior to 300-400 degrees, as it can be stated be use some minerals, like the Calcite, are persistent without decomposing. Carbonatic and siliceous depositions are subsequent to the ceramic production. It is done a Historic study from the 18th century to the present time, as twenty or twenty-five years ago, more on less, the last potteries were closed. It is related in detail the number or potteries, potters, and pieces that are registered in the Cadastre.
