Abstract
DM basis ADF varied from 23,93 % to 33,99 %; lignin permanganate from 8,71 % to 12,98 % and detergent cellulose from 14,98 % to 20,48 % from 25 cm. hight to flowering respectively. DMD decreases as the age of the plant increases from 6,92 % at 25 cm. hight to 51,65 % at flowering stage. No correlation was found between IVD and ADF, LP and DC contents. Of the variables studied, cellulose showed a more constant infmenee on DMD
