Abstract
The Law for the Creation of the Company of Galician Radio and Television (1984) thoroughly respected the base model of the Spanish Statute for Radio and Television (1980), instead of pursuing higher standards of self-organization and a country-specific regulation. This lack made room for a misuse of the legal text, since governments found their chance to monitor the Company according to their particular interests. This article stands for some legal shifts and an alternative management so as to avoid bias.
