Evaluación cefalométrica de los tejidos blandos y su relación con el tipo facial

Abstract

The aim of the present study is to obtain soft tissue cephalometric norms for each facial type. 223 spanish adult individuals were analyzed and divided in to dolycho, brachy and mesofacial types. Seven cephalometric measurements were taken. The outcomes show the most significative facial type parameters. Brachyofacial type had low inferior facial height, big convexity angle and lower lip retruded. Mesiofacial type had a high nasiolabial angle. Dolychofacial type a high lower facial heigh, lower lip not too much retruded and low nasiolabial angle.
