Abstract

In the present article we analyze the different measures developed in our country for the education of Spanish as a Second Language for immigrant students that join after the expected time in our educational system. The above mentioned plans and programs have some elements commons. Our intention is to know the particularities of each one of them: aims of the programs, specific training of the professorship and entrusted functions, addressees, size of the groups, maximum time of stay in the programs, existence of a programming curricular, among others. To finish with, we analyze the best educational practices of education of the Spanish, putting special emphasis in the advantages each one presents.
