Abstract
Through the application of a investment's time series design (ABA), we intends to determine if the progressive ·procedure of relaxation proposed by Jacobson produces an increase of the relaxation and, ar the same time, a decrease in the daily consumption of tobacco, in a woman that intends to stop smoking. The results show a significant effect of the procedure of Jacobson in the degree of distension, not thus in the consumption of tobacco. The data were analyzed by means of diverse technical statistics whose results flow and turn out to be conclusive far one of the respected variables.
