Abstract
This article presents a condensation, extracting the most significant details, of over 250 years of services provided to the royal armies and the Spanish Armed Forces, related to the activity of this exemplary corps so useful in the past as effective in present. This attraction by military makes that today we can talk about the deep transformation experienced by the Spanish military veterinary to match the sign of the times and exigencies demanding by modern armies. If we look at this fact with historical perspective, we can say that we are in front of a true organizational, scientific and social revolution in military veterinary, whose protagonists have been military vets themselves.
