La autocuratela como medida voluntaria de apoyo tras la reforma operada por la Ley 8/2021, de 2 de junio

Resum

The International Convention on the rights of people with disabilities signed in New York on December 13, 2006 in its article 12 obliges States Parties to adopt the pertinent measures to provide people with disabilities with the support they may need in exercising of its legal capacity. In compliance with this measure, a change is imposed in the protection system for another based on respect for the will and the preferences of the person with disabilities. The reform of the civil and procedural legislation approved by Law 8/2021, of June 2 responds to this. The present study is going to focus on the voluntary support measures provided in such regulation, specifically, in the public deed of autocurator regulated in the Civil Code.
