Zusammenfassung

A new approach for a more efficient and profitable dissemination of geological heritage is proposed. This initiative is based on the development of applications for Smartphone including high content in geomatics and adapted to hiking trails, which usually hold high demand for active tourism. The main activity turns around the design of a “Transgrancanarian Georoute”, which, along the trail provides an explanation of the evolution of the Fataga volcano in three stages, which correspond to the three subaerial volcanic stages of the island.
