Laburpena

The first film adaptation of a work of Galdós was in 1912, when Domingo Ceret adapted "The Grandfather". Since then the work of Galdós has continued to provide arguments for film and TV. Despite the large number of adaptations, free or not, highlights the Spanish director Luis Buñuel, especially three: express adaptations of "Nazarín" and "Tristana" and free adaptation of "Viridiana" based vaguely on "Halma". Our goal with this paper is essentially the analysis of the film version of "Tristana" (where Luis Buñuel exposes once again all his obsessions in a disturbing way) through the Theory of Text, modeled after Jesús González Requena and as the study of the differences and similarities between the book and the movie.
