Resum
The main goal of this article is to draw attention to the relationship between textiles produced at the end of the 15th Century and the decoration of the tympanum in the upper gallery of the main court in the College of San Gregorio in Valladolid funded by Alonso de Burgos. Similarly to the regular textile similes in late gothic architecture, the fleur-the-lys, garlands and pearly strips sculpted in the stone finish the decoration of this particular 'house of wisdom'.
