Resumen

Se enfocan las relaciones entre la educación física y la salud con base en una interpretación multivalente de los siguientes asuntos: aspectos sociales, masividad y salud, crecimiento y desarrollo, aspectos físicos y psíquicos, actividad física y enfermedad, eficiencia física poblacional, problemas de la fisiología del ejercicio, la información y la propaganda. Dichas temáticas están estrechamente ligadas destacando los puntos críticos o problemáticos, el lindero entre lo positivo y lo negativo como factor de la promoción de la salud.
