Zusammenfassung
Morphometric indexes have been established for bedrock incised rivers on the Caceres Peneplain. Gradient Indexes reflect knickpoint incision on the pediment and strike slip faults control. Rivers following the peneplain tilting offer low sinuosity and are not entrenched. Transverse rivers flowing north towards the Tajo River show high sinuosity and incised meanders. Drainage network evolution fits a morphotectonic model of crustal undulations that converges in the integration of the main flow and tributaries, forced by segmentation of transverse faults
