Zusammenfassung

This paper characterizes the phenomenon of the explosion of Big Data, particularl y the geo data, and shows examples of application in research, ordering according to the revised data sources work. The paper concludes with some reflections on the advantages that Big (Geo) Data provided to the researcher, but also reviews some of the main problems arising from their use.
