Abstract
Poetry is undoubtedly one of the literary genres with more blurred profiles. It is a product of the deepest and more obscure feelings of the human being. Consequently, it is also difficult to define and analyse it in depth. As Dámaso Alonso points out, we will never find out the ultimate reason for the existence of a poetic text. The present article is an attempt to approach a better understanding of what is known as ¿the truth of life¿.
