Abstract

Understood as a living work, in constant evolution and unceasing movement, Maragalls poetry emerges, full of romanticism and transcendentalism, as a natural and necessary manifestation of either life experience and ethical-aesthetic values. Art, indeed, will be understood by Maragall in terms of artisan work: spirit finds its creative impulse and its aim in a transcendental order, while the artist deals with the diary exertion and the responsibility of perfection.
