Abstract

The 20-D elections are a milestone in the Spanish democracy, not only by the outcome of the polls. Also by the campaign style. What has been called “the campaign americanization” he has given us unimaginable surprises a few years ago. The news has lost relevance, and the information has not been the trophy sought by the media: they have preferred to opt for communication to the detriment of the news, and the candidates humanization. In this operation each other have benefited: the media have gained an audience and have high prices charged to advertisers minutes, and politicians have managed to reach voters from human categories and not from de political categories.
