Zusammenfassung

This work comprises two main sections. In the first one (§1 y §2), we study from a historical point of view the extraordinary acceleration of the temporality related to the technological progress and its disastrous consequences for our lives, ironically closing all future forecast (§1). From this standpoint, we carry out a diagnosis of the present, where capitalism reveals itself as a new, all encompassing, all compelling religion, unrestricted by any symbolic or real bonds (§2). The second section (§3 y §4) is a proposal to rescue the present as a possibility and redeem the future in the light of Plato’s myth of the cave. In this respect, we take a “deconstructive” perspective (in order to become aware of our alienation) – §3.1-, and a “constructive” o “political” one (with a view to articulate collectively such awareness) – §3.2-. Finally, we present the relevance of our proposal in the social and historical praxis, its necessary conditions and its potential dangers (§4).
