Laburpena

Literary geographies may be used as a tool to reflect on the making of imagination about the Spanish-Portuguese border. Thinking of literature as form of knowledge and as a way to circulate distinctive voices, a critical analysis of five novels will be developed. By sharing diegetic space, that of the Galician-Portuguese Raya Seca (Dry borderline), the representations of the borderland in Terra Fría, Villardevós, O silencio redimido, Arraianos and O lobo guerrilheiro will be read as places of meaning for crossed perspectives about the historical projections, stories and fictive geographies playing on the border making.
