Abstract

In this study we present a human mummified child body from the collection of the Museum of Medical and Forensic Anthropology, Paleopathology and Criminalistic of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, Reverte (1999). We carry out a macroscopic and radiological study in order to estimate the age and possible pathologies that can be seen, and, according to the obtained results, we can conclude that, at the time of his death, it was around 15-17 years old, showing in the upper third of the left fibula two perimortem fractures compatible with injuries from a single impact.
