Resum
Expert evidence has become a means of proof of greater value to the testimony in the spanish criminal proceedings. In this work we have studied 23 cases of missing children with fatal outcome in the XXI century judged, at least in the first instance, concluding that it is necessary that the scientific evidence is based on quantitative criteria, scientific methods with a margin of error there are known and recommending regulatory mechanisms of scientific expert evidence provided in criminal proceedings as evidence
