September 24th elections in Germany determine the end of an electoral year that could have been horrible for the future of the European Union. After the victories of Mark Rutte in Holland and Emmanuel Macron in France there could be at the end a new impulse of the EU, at all if the German-French axe works. In the German elections, unless a surprise, Chancellor Angela Merkel will win. But the color of the coalition could determine the policy of Germany on the EU and on defense and security
