Abstract
Translation into spanish of the Introduction to the life and works of Vico in Selected Works of Vico (1835), by Jules Michelet; and translation into spanish of the famous «Discourse on the system and life of Vico», by the French historian. Michelet is recognized as the great diffusor of Vico in France, and promoter of the identification between the New science and the Philosophy of history.
