Resumen

En el artículo se revisan los pronósticos sobre la emergencia de un inevitable desempleo tecnológico masivo futuro por la difusión de la inteligencia artificial (IA) y de la Industria 4.0. Se argumenta, a partir de experiencias empresariales concretas, que no están implicando la eliminación (de la mayoría) del empleo humano, haciendo visibles las dependencias de la propia IA y sus algoritmos respecto a la “computación humana” y su fiabilidad para implantar exitosamente las nuevas tecnologías. Por último, se presenta una propuesta para una evaluación empírica de la “calidad” de las nuevas condiciones de trabajo y de empleo implantadas por la digitalización y la robotización en la actualidad.
