Resumo

The Arribes del Duero have always been a border area and whose conquest by Rome has been taken for granted in the context of the Cantabrian Wars, without having speci¡cally analyzed when and how this event occurred. Through the analysis of literary, archaeological and epigraphic sources, however, different evidence can be found which indicate a possible early conquest of this territory.
