Abstract
It was 2009 when Bunker Architecture presents the project ‘Earthscraper’ in response to a call for proposals for eVolo Magazine. The purpose was to build the ‘Earthscraper’ in The Zócalo, that is, the centre of Mexico City. In addition, another idea consists of linking the ancient local culture with the contemporary one -part of the Great Temple of Tenochtitlan is located under the current Zócalo-. Since this event we will develop a theoretical basis on the emptying of the foundation, as an axial process of our current view of the world.
