Abstract

The current tesis aims to sustain the validity of ilustration as the responsability of the ethical subject for himself and that of modernity as a method that, from the renewal of thought, seeks the transformation of society and scientific and technological progress. This validity is maintained in Human Rights, defended by the positive right of global enforcement. At the same time, it supports the social place of the sacred, in the secular sphere as the creation of inviolable space and time under human responsability in welcoming and defen-ding man and life.The negative drifts of modernity itself are the cause of the emergence of postmodernity and its challengers of creation with the broken fragments of that modernity. However, a new time emerges as post-secularity, where all existing resources in all áreas of societies are brougth into competition, including religious ones. From this perspective, we have cared about the contribution that Western theological thought can make, as well as those that come from the World Council of Churches and the Parliament of the World´s Religions. In this regard, we have triend to maintaind the dialectic as a method thrug the interdisciplinarity of the sciences of meaning: Philosophy, sociology and theology have been the three nutritional sources...
