Abstract
Prostate cancer is a very common disease and it is the third leading cause of cancer death in Spain. Since the introduction of PSA in early 1990’s as a screening tool, age at diagnosis and mortality have decreased, as a result of early detection and improvements in treatment. Localized prostate cancer can be treated with external radiotherapy or radical surgery.
