Morin hydrate (MH) is a flavonoid of plant origin, which has been shown in vitro to have activity against neurodegeneration mechanisms associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD), avoiding hyperphosphorylation of the Tau protein, dissolving β-amyloid peptide aggregates that form senile plaques and reducing oxidative stress produced by reactive oxygen species.
