Resumen
se abordan las formas de internacionaliza-ción tecnológica, así como el protagonismo que han alcanzado las empre-sas mulinacionales (emn) en la definición de estrategias de innovación sobre bases internacionales y en la determinación del patrón internacional de las cadenas de valor regionales y globales. Estas formas de inter-nacionalización de la actividad económica y tecnológica son de interés para gobiernos y académicos, por cuanto el objetivo de competitividad sigue estando presente en las bases que definen las distintas políticas de cambio estructural necesario para hacer avanzar las economías hacia un proceso sostenible de desarrollo.
