The environmentalist approach about Natural Sciences in Spain, that appeared in Antonio José de Cavanilles and Simón de Rojas Clemence's works in the 18th. cencury, was introduced in the Spanish education at the end of the 19th. century by naturalists relaced to the Institution Libre de Enseñanza. At the beginning of the 20th. century were introduced sorne innovator pedagogic proposals by nacuralists as Odón de Buen and Enrique Rioja.
