Abstract
Internet, the multimedia applications and the web pages, have marked the wayof the Usability for the web. Nowadays, Usability is a term that is becomingincreasingly important in the development of software, becoming an essentialattribute of quality when designing a website. The primary goal of a website is tosatisfy user needs with a simple and effective interaction and / or a design thatsuits the characteristics of the public. In this context, the Usability affects in theprocess of developing websites. In this study are reviewed the differentdefinitions of the Usability, their attributes and / or the factors to consider whendiscussing the term, as well as the relationship with other disciplines, a groupthat marked the way of Usability.
