Zusammenfassung
This chapter reflects on the Inquiry Based Mathematics Education approach and theprofessional development of the novice university mathematics teacher. It addresses the designof tasks and projects as a key aspect of teacher training. To do so, we use some data fromactivities carried out in Spain within the framework of the European PLATINUM project. Wepresent the methodological approach and various materials for professional development. Wefocus on the challenges and issues that arise in the design and implementation of mathematicaltasks for teaching.
