Résumé

The main objective of the visual design of an application is to create an attractive and easy to use interface that facilitates an efficient use of the device. To achieve this, the designer selects typographies and graphic elements, defines their visual attributes, and arranges them on the screen so that the interface works as a message in which the designer provides the user with the information needed to use the device successfully. During the interaction, a communication process is established based on the visual language that is composed by these graphic elements and the animations that control how their appearance evolves over time.
