Abstract
Making peace is dif"cult, a peace that goes far beyond stopping the confrontation. This peace poses challenges in terms of economic development, recognition of civil rights, reparation for victims and reconstruction of the social fabric. The results of the survey are worrying, even more so if the breadth of the sample is taken into account. But despite this, peace resists and continues to be the best valued option, so much so that, with all the dif"culties made visible, the majority of those surveyed, 86%, believe that a negotiated solution to the con!ict with the second should be chosen. Colombia’s largest guerrilla group still active, the National Liberation Army. This opinion is generalized in all the areas analyzed and is higher than 90% in those areas where the presence and impact of this group is stronger.
