Abstract
Many authors believe that there is no contradiction between what is required by the value of integrity and the adoption of compromise agreements. They underline the congruence between both concepts, especially in the case of organizations that have a healthy structure of cooperation among their members. However, I would like to present and discuss a case where the presence of an ethical dilemma can cause the more personal aspects of integrity to contradict the values of the organization. The experience of immorality that comes with compromise agreements also indicates the possibility of a dilemma between the personal aspect and the collective aspect of integrity. Such dilemmas must be addressed not only because they cause a lot of suffering in the members of the organizations, but precisely because of their moral character.
