Abstract

The thermal screen is constituted by polyester-aluminum and willing with metallic structure to automate the closing/opening in function of the hour of the day and/or of the temperature. Their installation supposes a high cost if we compare it with the value of the greenhouses that use our producers. For cold resistant cultivars the benefits can report the system don't decrease to a mathematical calculation; it' s interesting to check ifthe night thennal improvement that produces this device exercises an improvement in the quality of the product and in favorable case a quantification of the benefits. .As used vegetable material, cultivars Daymark, Buttercup and Glance. It has been studied in two inductions in two times of the year (induction beginning: 7-XI and 7-XIl ).The following characters were detennined: diameter of the inflo!'CScence, number of flowers and bellboys with color, stem longitude, fresh weight of the stem, relationship of average growth, average etliciency of the fresh biomass, and nwnber of days from planting until anthesis. We have worked with three resistant cultivars to the cold, the advantage that supposes the thennal screen in the cold days of winter doesn't improve the quality (size ofthe flower, number of flowers and bellboys with color or weight ofthe floral stem), it produces a medium decrement of the cycle of reaction of 2 days and it decrease theaverage speed of growth.
