Résumé
The opinion of six strabismus experts is sought on the clinical case of a 65-year-old woman with diplopía after suffering a midbrain stroke on December 9th, 2020. They are informed of the the patient´s systemic and ophthalmological past history, the data of the first ophthalmological examination and the follow-up examination at 3 months. And their opinion is requested on the following questions: 1. Brief description of the ophthalmologic clinical picture. 2. Would you carry out or request any other test to obtain more data? 3. What treatment would you perform: Botulinum toxin or surgery? 4. In the case of opting for toxin: What muscles would you infiltrate, what dose and for what purpose? 5. In case of opting for surgical treatment: A. What type of anesthesia would you use? B. What surgery would you perform? C. Would you consider any perioperative data to change or decide the surgical protocol? D. What would you expect as best surgical result? The full comments of all the panelists are presented and a final summary is made.
