Abstract
The article offers information on public debt problem in Spain. Topics discussed, include Spanish insolvency law, Spanish debt-for-equity swaps, new insolvency liability regime for shareholders and administrators, statutory refinancing agreements to decrease the majority required to approve a share capital increase and debt-for-equity swaps and the position of shareholders in restructurings.
