Abstract

The figure of the forensic psychologist plays an increasingly important role within the legal system, being responsible for the expert report in order to solve the legal issues raised providing the scientific expertise required to straighten out an accurate interpretation of events. This paper evaluates the liability of a drug addiction case (cocaine use disorder) framed within a summary procedure in drug trafficking, being the convicted person remand in custody for a presumed crime of illicit trafficking and belonging to an organized group. The purpose of this article is to be used as a report model carried out in the forensic psychology private sector. Therefore, this report has been taken into consideration using it for analogous enforcement under mitigating circumstances for drug addiction as collected into decision no. XXX/2016 of the Provincial Court of V. (Section 2).
