Abstract
In any working environment personal issues that improve a person’s competence performance ought to be identified and valued. Its evaluation and subsequent recognition are fundamental, because without it employees would not be properly and truly embedded in the organization. So suitable guidance activities carried out by workers inside the organization looks essential for including new workers. A number of studies have been carried out dealing with those new competences that a good trainer must develop, but…are we sure that guidance activities are properly developed? For example, is the good mentor/coach properly recognized and rewarded inside a university environment? Must an only figure who carries out all guidance activities exist? Who and how ought to certify/vouch for those activities? In this work we present from necessities which motivate guidance to what to do to avoid coaching works to be trapped in a unjustified devaluation, in order to launch a necessary debate to allow finding out answers to all questions which may rise. We invite you to participate in a trip which allows providing certification and recognition to all those who carry out coaching activities in university environments.
